- I- I think Robin's going to become a revolutionary. Yeah. Watch me eat my words in four episodes

- Robin's such a great kid with such incredible spirit that I've always loved him. Watching him get actually involved in all this character-plot-something development feels like Christmas come early

- Teillagory's betrayal of the group wasn't actually all that surprising. What was surprising was where his real loyalties lie. Maybe if I'd thought about it beyond just "hey, he could be a traitor" it wouldn't have been

- I get the feeling that d'Eon's somehow incapable of feeling romantic-sexual love. Maybe it's just me?

- Durand, I'll always love you. I still wouldn't have wanted for you to go any other way

- "Kimi ni dake wa soba ni ite hoshii no da!" .....Well, WOW. I suspect I'm not going to get all the backstory for those three (Durand, Lia, Maximilien) that I want :(



Sunday night was a movie night, and our movie of choice was Sunshine. First it was good, and then it wasn't. Still, the first half was so smart that I'm almost willing to forgive the last half for making stop caring about anything that happened.

Besides, it had Cillian Murphy, who is hot a decent actor! A decent actor, I mean.

Durand was easy to take for granted. Re-watching the series when it's done will probably rouse all sorts of interesting new feelings for the characters. (I, at least, will have to watch it all over again, if only to appreciate the build-in of all the finer plot points.) I think that out of all the characters I'm going to be the most satisfied with Robin's development. But this is a very bad time in the series to be saying anything about anything!

Personally I didn't think it was forced, it just wasn't romantic at all. I'm currently seeing d'Eon as someone who's never really dreamed about romance. After all this craziness, marrying Anna and all that is a path to contentment because it's normal, if that makes sense. He does care about her in some way, even if his feelings are nowhere near as strong as hers. It's going to take a lot to convince me that it's supposed to be love love, if that's what they're after. :/
