fell for it
(You, who read this, put this to your own blog and list twenty things that make you happy at this moment.)
1. I've managed to get my school book business in order and it's not even the third day of this period, yet.
2. Thinking about books that fuse sci-fi with fantasy.
3. Atsuko's (from angela) crazy voice.
4. The tea I'm currently drinking, a mix of black and green tea.
5. Spoons with a pointy end. All the better to eat fruit with, my dear.
6. My lovely mittens that I can't get on without help from other people.
7. Walking in winter. Walking, as opposed to biking.
8. Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke.
9. The play I get to go to see the coming Thursday.
10. Shindou Naomi's voice-acting.
11. The third course of music knowledge, which concerns everything from impressionism to modern day. (It just happens that it's also the last course I have to take in the subject, nfu.)
12. Ridiculously long song titles. ("There's a reason these tables are numbered honey. You just haven't thought of it yet". PANIC! at the disco, wtf?)
13. I get to see Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust this week.
14. Two characters from #13 looking like an unhappy smiley.
15. Mom left for Canary Islands for a week and there's peace in the house.
16. Tomorrow.
17. Guu's life philosophy. (See icon.)
18. Foreigners trying to speak Japanese. (Trying to speak. Foreigners who speak Japanese are a completely different matter altogether.)
19. My clothing layers (all five of them), they keep me warm.
20. The list behind the following cut.
Twenty things that make me happy at the moment (and maybe after the moment has passed, too), VERSION FAFNER AHAHAHAHAHAA
1. (Commanding officer) Makabe Akane, ace pilot of Japan's self-defence force, second mixed batallion.
2. The so-called "dash of personal style" that sets the animation apart from Gundam SEED's. Yes, the cheek-stripes.
3. All the family relationships.
4. All the dialogue between Kazuki and Fumihiko in Gone/Arrive. (Wait, since when do I understand Japanese that well?)
5. The animation in episodes 23 and 24.
6. The voice acting in episodes 23 and 24.
7. The music in episodes 23 and 24.
8. The dialogue in episodes 23 and 24.
9. The broken characters in episodes 23 and 24.Muahahaha. Muahahaha.
10. Episodes 23 and 24.
11. The Toomi family unit of nurture and ass-kicking.
12. Mocking the third episode.
13. Big, muscular men in tight tank tops.
14. A certain precocious little girl poking fun at her big brother.
15. The bath scene.
16. Added sound effects by Nadja. (It was annoying as all hell at the moment and completely ruined the most important/emotional/touching/beautiful scene in the damn show, but looking back now is actually quite amusing. :D)
17.I'd like to put "the vending machine" in here, but the scene involving said machine has been overmentioned and hinting at it stopped being funny like, an year ago. ...No wait, it didn't. The vending machine.
18. All the more original tracks on Right of Left's soundtrack.
19. "Okay, so it's hinted at... suggested. Strongly suggested, but still reading between the lines. Filling the gaps in one's own mind. But subtext is too mild a word, I think? More likepsst, text."
20. Ishii Makoto, o'god.
In other news, Stellvia's main character annoys me in the way main characters usually do, but otherwise the series looks very interesting.
