Day 20: The "can't stand the sexual tension anymore" pairing?
Adèle and Maria from Victorian Romance Emma are the first one that came to mind. I was honestly expecting them to, well. At some point.
And I'm not buying the Hans thing, Kaoru Mori.
Not buying it.
The other answer:
Lambdadelta and Bernkastel from Umineko no Naku Koro ni. Shipping them makes me feel so guilty: they are ancient, but they look FOURTEEN. Resulting sexytimes are somewhat dubious.
...That picture is kinda bad, let's go with something more... appropriate.
They are also the legitimate answer to today's question. As in, I literally couldn't stand the tension anymore. As in, I have drawn porn of them.

DAY 20: Favorite temporary character?
Kain Highwind
GENERAL BEATRIX
Her conflict between loyalty to her queen and doing the right thing is surprisingly complex and well-done. Her evolution from a recurring boss to a sympathetic ally (and one-time temporary player character) is believable and touching. She has a sweet leitmotif and an even sweeter skillset - when not used against the player, that is.
Though I must say that the awesomeness is somewhat tempered by that thing with Steiner. Why.
Runner-ups: Prince Larsa (XII), ...President? Laguna (VIII), General Leo (VI).
