An absolutely hilarious (and/or hot, depending)
freetalk session with Paku Romi and Kugimiya Rie, which I had forgotten to link earlier. Better late than never.
Today seems like a good day to talk about my British & American history teacher, an excellent older Irish man whom I secretly adore and would forcibly elope with if only he were fifty years younger. On the very first day he endeared himself to me with his opinion on a certain book series: "Who here has read Harry Potter? All of it? The last one was poor, wasn't it."
(His comment after noticing the video projector's Hitachi screensaver displayed over the world map on the wall? Something along the lines of "Wh-? Ha, Pearl Harbor is finally over! Japan has taken over the world! AHAHAHA!")
Upon explaining the workings of the government of the US, the following occurred:
M: So, even after the election's over in November -- *praying notions towards the ceiling*
may it be Obama, may it be Obama --
M:
M: I'm not actually allowed say that, am I?
M: No wait, I guess it's only if it was a Finnish election.
M: Anyway.
M: After the election's over in November, it'll take until January for the next president to officially take office -- *praying notions towards the ceiling*
may it not be McCain, may it not be McCain...
Good luck today, US. May your decision be a wise one. \o
