Day 10: Why aren't these two married in real life?
--what no
(Ryukishi07 and Natsumi Kei could make magic together.)
DAY 10: Favorite summon?
Your regular nightmare fuel. (...No, not Brahne, Atomos.)
Final Fantasy X's summons are my favourite. They are plot-relevant (XII's espers have the best in-game history though) and every time Yuna summons them, they snuggle up to her, give her a lift, generally interact with her. It was a much more personal bond than even with Rydia and her summons in IV. Valefor is my favourite, because she was Yuna's first summon and thus the one we got to know best (besides, she deals non-elemental damage and is IMPOSSIBLE TO HIT).

Ixion is another favourite, summoning him for the first time in the Thunder Plains was a strangely empowering experience, and Yojimbo has the best summoning sequence (and he isn't actually under Yuna's control, it's a contract. You need to pay him for his services every time. Hah!):
If we're talking about Final Fantasy in general, Alexander has won me over in... its... every appearance (IX was the grandest). There's just something about summoning a whole fortress. A fortress that spams holy missiles.

(MegaTen: ...Personae are analogous to summons!

Yamato Takeru, persona of Shirogane Naoto from Persona 4. For the shallow, shallow reason that it's the hottest thing I've seen. I WOULD HIT THAT.
Runner-ups: Tomoe Gozen. Look at those muscles. It's the heaviest hitter in the game.

Persona 3's personae are also pretty sweet. My favourites (in order, Caesar, Pallas Athena, Thanatos, Juno):

In Persona 2 we have Helios, Callisto and Maia, who just look neat:
