Maija's fault, yet again.

1. Total number of books I own:

MANY, and lets just leave it at that. (Just my manga collection is nearing a hundred...)

2. Last book I bought:

I've been trying to buy Gaiman's Smoke and Mirrors through Varpu, but I'm don't know whether she's got around to doing it. So... LeGuin's Fool's errand, I think.

3. Last book I read:

Sankarit by Johanna Sinisalo (isn't that Kalevala, by extension? OKAY, IT ISN'T). (Last books I've been reading [on and off] are Gavriel Kay's Tigana and the first part of Stephen King's Dark Tower series.)

4. Five books that mean a lot to me:

-ALL HAIL GOOD OMENS. Sorry, the question was...?
-Part three of Weis et Hickman's Death Gate Cycle series, Fire sea. ......what?
-Ronja Rövardotter by Astrid Lindgren. Probably my favourite book from when I was a child, and it has yet to stop entertaining me.
-Arthur Dent's wacky adventures around the Galaxy with his home-trained alien (and other stories) by Douglas Adams - I even carried a towel around with me on the 25th May! Oi.
-Missä junat kääntyvät, a collection of short stories by Pasi Jääskeläinen. I don't know, I just read it very often. Them. Parts of it. (If I'd have to pick just one story it'd be Pinnan alla Toiseus piilee, just so you know.)

Honourable mentions go to the Farseer and the Tawny Man trilogies by Robin Hobb. They just haven't been around long enough to mean a lot lot.

5. Wishlist :)

A new copy of Good Omens, as mine's starting to look "just a little" worn around the corners. Gormenghast, The Liveship Traders trilogy, The Princess Bride, Ennen päivänlaskua ei voi, Adams' Galaxy thang in English, Xi you-ji, Monty Python and the Holy Grai- waitaminnit. Mucho Gaiman, also. (And so on and so forth.)

6. Tag 5 people and ask them to fill this out in their LJs:

N/A (No, scratch that, everyone.)
