• All 12 Japanese Chevalier DVD covers! (Spoilers.) The last one is not what I thought it would be, even if it was pretty much the only possibility. I didn't dare hope. But Lia's face looks odd.
• A remake of Final Fantasy IV, coming on DS. The outfit designs for the main characters are my favourites in the game series, so this version with pretty graphics delights me. + Apparently they used only 1/4 of the script in the original game, and will be adding the rest to this release. Maybe I'll even like it this time around!
Today I learned that seagulls, reluctant to leave their nests when their chicks have hatched, eat the chicks of others seagulls if they're close and unguarded. Easy and nutritious meals.
Today I also saw my niece for the first time - she was adorable, which is alarming because I usually dislike babies. Family sentimentality. My brother and his wife don't want to reveal her name yet. :( Additionally, my sister's new puppy (descendant of one of her older dogs), whom I'd taken care of earlier this summer, was also there! She'd grown like crazy.
Now, these things have been mixing in my sleep-deprived brain and conjured all sorts of interesting images of baby cannibalism. I'd like some brain-bleach.

that or the DS emulators have improved to the point where it's playable on the computerOut of curiosity, and if you don't mind me asking, what did you think the last cover would be? (I almost thought it would be Max's death scene, even though it would be a spoiler -- but then again the covers have all been fairly static poses w/ mostly standing people...)

And more screentime to Yang's wife.I don't have a DS either, but buying it sounds tempting. I've often had problems running anything more complex than good old SNES games on my computer.
As for the cover... Well, with it bringing the series to a close and all, I dreaded it would break out of the tradition of featuring anything specifically to do with the episodes on the DVD and just have the central characters, Lia and d'Eon, maybe staring at each other meaningfully. Dull and generic, in other words. (God, now that I think about it, a picture of Robin would have been ominous. In a, uh, good way.)
