I have the strangest urge to write a series of very short stories of a girl and a dress. The girl is just a girl, twelve or under, and the dress is just a dress, considerably older than the girl. One day the girl will find the dress, and try it on, and it will fit her perfectly. And... that's all there is to the plot. The stories are of people who gape the way the dress looks like it was made for her, or she for the dress, or them for each other. It'd be awesome.
