Mom bought a new laptop yesterday, and this morning dad spent some time setting it up, only to find that over 90 of this supposedly new computer's 130 gigabytes were in use. After a few moments of suspenseful searching* we discovered that some customer had been exploring the computer and accidentally set the record -feature on. What followed was four hours' worth of life in a big local electronics store.
Uh, the lesson? Don't go fiddling with all the stuff in electronics stores if you don't know what you're doing, I guess. There's a possibility that complete strangers are going to have fun at your expense.
*Well, for me and him - mom was watching the Sapporo sports competition. Kuitunen won Finland a third gold medal, or so I hear.
