a-splatter splatter, rip rip
School is finally starting again next week. It's wonderful to finally see people not related to me more often than twice a month. Too much time at home means that I've managed to play through two video games in less than two months. And read some brick-thick books, although much fewer than I actually could have. Interestingly playing around with photoshop hasn't been a preferable pastime these few weeks, though today I did just that for. Some hours.
I'm sort of morbidly interested in what a psychiatrist would say about my current state of mind when looking at my beautiful, beautiful new icons. About a half of them I think of as some modern pop artist's daytime nightmares. Unfortunately the most wtf-inducing of them all I had no space left to upload.
Some weeks ago I (re?-)discovered the series Code Geass, a series with giant robots! (First there was Fafner, and then there've sort of been a few Gundam series...) It takes its politics a) seriously enough, and b) with enough haste for me to really get interested. In other ones the politics've either been in minor focus, or have taken way too much time to develop ("woo, ten episodes in and we've only tickled the surface! not that we would've really lost anything introducing situations and such earlier. we're just doing it this way because we can").
And now I'll go have something to eat. My whole body is shaking a little from starvation. D:
