For the past month I've been sitting secluded inside the house, only (and the dozen times this rule has been broken doesn't count, really!) leaving it for school. One lesson only, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I've been button-smashing.
Number eight was ridiculously entertaining for the first disc, if for the first disc only, number nine I think I would've liked, if only it had liked me, number seven was quite the wonderful experience indeed, but number ten has eaten my soul*. I... I don't know if it's ever going to spit it out again.
When I haven't done that or slept (which I've taken to doing at least fifteen hours a day), I've been reading that one fantasy book which, in my opinion, loses only to the Farseer trilogy. So far. Maybe His Dark materials too. So far. The Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell.
Then today I stayed in the city centre long enough enough to eat at school, and met some of my friends face to face. I managed to hold entire conversations with them! I'm quite proud of my obviously superior communication skillz.
* Among other things: "the main couple's" pretty much in-your-face obvious romantic inclinations towards each other fill me with "awww" and "how touching!" and "...if they don't get each other in the end I'll CRY D:", which hasn't happened since Pride and Prejudice, seriously.
