- plot-related stuff starting after the first disc: OH. MY. GOD
- AAANHHH, CID. "You sit your ass down and drink your goddamn tea!" But why has his theme played only once so far? IT'S AWESOME
- the Cover materia is especially wonderful with Cloud when Aerith and Tifa are in the party. He protects his ladies from direct attacks! Aww
- Vincent is, what? A vampire, a werewolf AND Frankenstein's monster at the same time, so far? I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO HIS LATER LIMITS
- fighting pieces of Jenova is distracting because the battle music insists on demanding my full attention D: Except at the end of the first disc! That music was just... well, different
- ...Tifa has no hips but her breasts more than make up for it
- happened a few times so far:
Internet guide: "So basically, this boss is a bitch to win and the only way to do it is with *insert spells and suchlike here*"
Me: *looks at the guide AFTER the fight* "... Not that it was GRACEFUL or anything, but I beat the boss with none of those spells and with two thirds of my party KO'd. Barely at the recommended level. At the first try. AM I GOOD OR IS THIS JUST BEGINNER'S LUCK?"

And everything else. Except that I never use cover materia. :D All of the bosses pretty much depend btw. Like, the monster from the safe before Vincent? if it's final from turns one color, it's easy, if the other, it's damn hard. >_>;;
(currently lightning attacks heal my Vincent. moo-hahaha! >D)

CID IS, INDEED, QUITE WONDERFUL. Not as wonderful as Red XIII, I'm afraid! BUT HE ISN'T FAR BEHIND. :D
I found all the codes in the mansion without cheating! :D But the monster from the safe actually killed me at least once (twice? thrice?) before I won it. When I finally did, I kept trying to heal my other party members with Aerith (who I really don't want to be left alone with when fighting D:) but the monster kept on killing them as I healed them. Then I realized that hey! Maybe he's killing them because he's like one hit from dead, and attacked, and my theory turned out to be sound! (Don't you laugh, I'm inexperienced in the ways of gaming.)
And isn't this all very interesting. I could go on for hours, but I really doubt you're all that interested.
(Also, Cover materia comes in plenty handy when one wants to kill CERTAIN OBLIGATORY PARTY MEMBERS to keep the others at least somewhat on his level.)
