Gundam SEED, final

Damned if I didn't at some point start thinking of Naturals and Coordinators as humans and elves, respectively.

Things that made Gundam SEED a worthwhile series:

# The first and third opening themes.
# (Gah I don't know what to call it) People going SEED-mode. That, if anything, was shiny.
# Captain Murrue's coffin-locket.
# Latter half of episode 28 (= shitty mood piling on Kira, then Torii flying away and TO ATHRUN of all the people who could be lurking outside).
# Athrun flinching away from the light the first time he wakes up after blowing the Aegis up.
# Athrun and Cagalli's fight(s) over the former's gun.
# The Strike getting into the Earth's gravitation radius and its effects on the machine + the Archangel descending from space.
# Yzak hitting and kicking lockers. While shouting curses.
# Lacus and Athrun being engaged.
# Cagalli's hugging reflex that's triggered by crying little boys.
# The Freedom and the Justice. I still can't get over the names.
# Natarle's death.
# The "OMG this is a majestic tale of grand emotions and WAR!" BGM that's overplayed during Genesis attacks (I think I'll call it the Genesis Theme from now on! ...Maybe it really is its name. It could be) and the insert song Akatsuki no kuruma (artist who?), played during the latter half of episode 24.

(SEEDmode!Kira piloting Freedom reminds me of Touya Akira playing go. "Okay, four boards this time. Adjust, adjust...")

In the end? SHINY. SEED DESTINY, HERE I COME.
